Common Questions when Choosing the Best 3D Pen

  • Who will be using the 3D Pen?

3D Pens made for children differ greatly from those made for adults. Companies usually tell you who the pen is designed for in the product description. Kids will love 3Doodler Start, but adults may find it hard to hold the pen.

As for the 3Doodler Create set, it’s perfect for adults, but since it requires constant plugging in and the pen tip has a higher temperature, it’s a less-than-ideal choice for kids.

  • How Does a 3D Pen Work?

You can create 3D objects with a 3D pen. You will see molten plastic instead of ink when you draw a stroke with the pen. A 3D pen allows you to layer your 3D object in a similar manner to a traditional 3D printer.

  • Does the 3D Pen have to stay plugged in?

It is necessary to keep some 3D pens plugged in while they are in use. This can be problematic for some artists, as you can imagine. Other models, such as this TECBOSS SL300, allow you to charge, then use without power. In addition, it appears that filament type and power source have a connection, so this is something to keep in mind. Next, we need to think about the filament type.

  • How do filaments work on 3D pens?

The performance of a 3D Pen depends largely on the filament it produces. It is commonplace for pens to be able to handle two types of plastic: ABS, which is more brittle, and PLA, which is softer. There are some pens that go even further by using materials such as wood, algae, and nylon. Expect to pay a bit more for filaments that are less common.

If you’re going to buy 3D pen filament, expect to pay a bit more. We know that some colors are more popular than others because most of them come in packages with several colors. If you compare 3D Pens, consider the price of the filament refills from the beginning. An item that is mid-priced might suddenly become more expensive if that cost is added.

  • What a 3D pen allows your kid to do

Beginner 3D pens for kids let them create 3D designs not only on paper but also on thin air. In the activity guide and apps, project designs can be copied using molds. By freehand, they can also draw their own.

Several complex designs introduce kids to science, geography, technology, engineering, and mathematics, while reproducing projects improves hand-eye coordination.

Children can use these pens to develop a variety of skills while exploring their imagination, creativity, individuality, and individuality. Various themes are available to suit different ages and abilities.

Types of 3D Pens

There are four main types of 3D Pens on the market:

i. FDM Pens: Suitable for Older Children and Teens

As well as FDM, home-based 3D printers also use the same technology. Using a warm nozzle, filament threads like PLA are softened. ABS plastic can also be used with a 3D pen.

Vertical lines can be drawn with a 3D pen. Creating a line isn’t difficult. In spite of this, being able to draw vertical lines with an FDM 3D pen is understandable given how quickly the plastic hardens.

Some 3D pens require a little time to solidify the lines, between 5 and 10 seconds. When the lines are not solidified, the structure bends or worse, flops.

ii. Low Temperature: Appropriate for Younger Children

Similar to FDM 3D pens, this technology works at low temperatures. Plastic used here, however, melts at low temperatures.

The 3D pens still offer similar functionality to FDM pens, but are safer for children to use. When children use low-temperature 3D pens, parental supervision is still necessary. This pen, however, is less likely to burn or injure them.

Low-temperature 3D pens are ideal for children ages 8 and under.

iii. Cool Ink with Internal UV: Suitable for Young to Older Children

You can even make 3D objects with this pen by using a cold process. An outlet at the front of the pen allows a fluid plastic to pass through. This liquid ink is solidified by an ultraviolet (UV) light.

Similar methods are used to print 3D objects with SLA resin printers.

iv. Cool Ink with External UV: Suitable for Young Children

The ink is cured using an ultraviolet chamber instead of the cool-ink method. Consequently, your designs can be simpler since the ink remains liquid until it reaches the curing chamber.

With the molds that come with the pen, you can create precise 3D printed objects.

Customer Opinion:

i. John Paul L. Finan – “My significant other thought this kind of toy would be great for my niece, so I got all research-y and after a couple hours, decided this was a good one for a more or less normal ten year old with no particular experience. Turns out, she really seems to like it! I got a fun picture with a smiling kiddo and a completed project, so that’s good!”

ii. Ruhul Amin – “I like how you can do what a 3D printer can do, but for way cheaper. There is also a manual inside the box, which is very helpful for giving ideas on what to make. But one thing I didn’t like was that the filament was a bit too pricey, they could’ve given more for $20 filament. It’s a very fun and great way to keep your kids busy for a while!!”

iii. Kristin – “Really neat! My son is 10 and can operate it on his own. It’s amazing the stuff he has made with this 3D pen!”

Why are we impressed?

Kids will love using these filaments because they are biodegradable and malleable. It comes with an app that lets them customize their pen.

What negatives must you be aware of?

Having a child who has multiple projects or big projects can cause the refills to cost quite a bit over the long run.

With a stepless speed control slider, users can alter temperature and feed flow in 1° increments. For detailed work, hold the button to generate a pulsating flow, double-click it to generate a continuous flow for large areas, and let go to instantly stop the flow.

In addition to ABS and PLA refills, Mynt3d’s Professional Printing 3D Pen can work at temperatures of 210° C and 175° C. An outstanding feature of it is that you can even use bronze-infused filaments. However, they must be at least 1.75mm in diameter and melt between 140° C and 230° C.

MYNT3D Professional Printing 3D Pen FAQ’s

How offten does this pen jam and how do you clear it?

John, usually, a jam caused by deformation in the filament is caused by the 3d pen. The heat can cause the filament to deform so it is not the right size/shape to pass through the pen as a result of the incorrect temperature settings or an irregularity in the filament.

The filament can be backed out, the deformed section cut off, and the process continued. It can, however, sometimes pull off from the nozzle and remain lodged. You can easily remove the nozzle from our pens, remove the section of filament that is deformed, and the pen will be as good as new after removing the service door.

If the pen stops feeding normally, pause your work and back out the filament instead of forcing it through. The key to avoiding jams is to use high quality filament, set the temperature correctly, and use high quality filament and the right temperature. You shouldn’t experience jams if you follow these guidelines.

How bad is the odor from the filaments?

It’s bad for you to breathe in ABS fumes. If you are going to use a filament, choose PLA, and be sure to ventilate the area well. 3D printing enthusiasts consider PLA to be safer as it has less of an odor and is corn based.

May I rotate the filament as I feed it?

This pen’s feed mechanism is less robust than that of desktop 3D printers that use spools. With a ball bearing setup, you should be able to feed your spools smoothly and easily.

Problems can arise if the spool is holding the rod type holder solid which will add more friction, or if the filament is not wound tightly enough so that it can bind, which can also be a problem. It seems ideal if you could keep the filament slack so it doesn’t come straight off the spool.

Customer Opinion:

i. James – “This is a great pen. Firstly, all 3d pens are unreliable due to the nature of their design. Thats why so many reveiws express issues. Some part or another is cheap and doesnt hold up. Many are as good as trash when they become faulty because you cant replace the faulty parts.

The heating element in this pen is the faulty part. This is my 3rd 3D pen. The other two brands broke and are not servicable. This unit can be taken apart and serviced if need be. 3D pens and printers are a hobby and like most hobbies it can be rather expensive when breakdowns occur. If you’re a hobbyist, spending 30 to 50 bucks every several months to keep producing art is really not that much.

This pen is lighter than others which makes it seem a little cheap but the features show the quality. Unlike other pens, this one will feed the plastic 2 ways. First, you can hold the button which stops the feed when released or you can double click the feed button and it will continuously feed which is nice for larger areas. The heating range is adjustable in 1 degree increments which is nice for acheiving the appropriate flow and consistency as each plastic is different and use different temps.

The gnome house in the picture i attached was made using wood filament. Overall, its a good pen. Ive only been using it for a few days so i can’t speak for its longevity, but ive got about 15 hours on it with no issues. Customer service seems to be readily available for any issues you may have. I am pleased with this purchase. I was happy with the other 2 brands i purchased but they just didnt hold up. Hopefully I can update this at a later time with an equally positive review. Happy printing!”

ii. Artemaria – “We bought this pen after buying a different generic/cheaper pen that lasted one (1) use, and then clogged. Happily we were able to return the pen to the seller. That was a bad experience.

This pen was a good experience. It worked very well with the ABS filament and some other ABS filament that we got from a highly rated seller on Amazon. Pen has been clog free and the motor works seamlessly. There is some material left in the chamber after each use, so we have made sure to extract the extras out of there so that we can get the color as pure as possible once we begin working on a project. Moving from white to black and vice versa has been especially noticeable as the initial extrusions from the pen are grey.

The pen does get a little hot near the tip, but oddly does not include the silicone finger tips that were included with the other pen, so if you have younger kids, it may be worth it to get those fingertips for a few dollars more. The adjustable speed (it is a slider, unlike some pens which have buttons to adjust the speed) is really nice and gives you a little more flexibility than some other models.”

iii. Sobachatina – “Support was very easy to work with. They were very responsive through email and understood English. They asked a few questions and then sent a replacement unit which is working well.

I don’t expect every product to be defect free just that a company be accessible and responsive to problems.
I’m impressed with how this company stood behind their product.

This was a Christmas present. It was used 4 times in the 3 months since it was given.
Yesterday it started turning off whenever the advance button was pressed. It does not heat up or advance the filament anymore.
It was fun while it worked. Now Amazon won’t accept it back and I can’t find any way to contact the manufacturer. I’ll try and fix it and edit my review if I’m successful.

I strongly recommend avoiding this product. $60 is just too expensive for such a brief lifetime.”

What are its best features?

A large display, a temperature control system, multiple feeding methods, as well as the capability to charge with USB.

What could be improved?

There have been reports of pen failures caused by heating failures, resulting in pen replacements.

Customer Opinion:

i. Tyler – “My family owns 5 of these! We LOVE them! They keep my big kids busy for hours! They do very creative things with the plastic and have made some cool art!! They have even tried to solve some problems with other broken toys using 3doodler plastic. My husband and I like to play around with them too!

They are great! We had a problem with one of the first pens we purchased. It jammed and the plastic came out the sides of the tip. We were super bummed but when we contacted the company, they sent a new one out right away. Great customer service! The new pen and all the other pens have held up for coming up on a year. My 11 year old uses his every day.

He even takes it to school! Very kid friendly and fun to use. His friends think it is cool too! These pens have been passed around, left on the floor, taken on vacation, dropped, tossed in backpacks, charged, overcharged and recharged and are still kicking! Great product!!!

I have a 3doodler Create, which I really like, but honestly, I prefer the ease of use of these 3Doodler Start pens! They are fantastic!!”

ii. William P. – “I got this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas and she still loves it weeks later. The refills are pricey but you can find cheaper ones here on Amazon that work, just check the size! All in all it was a great gift for my crafty daughter who loves getting lost in an art project.”

iii. Tatiana H. – “My was really happy to try this 3d pen”

Why are we impressed?

The model not only enhances geographical understanding, but also facilitates STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning among kids. The LED wire that you use to illuminate the building adds an element of vibrancy to your designs, as do the long free replacement period.

What negatives must you be aware of?

Several verified buyers report that some of the pens get clogged up with plastic or stop charging after a few uses. Secondly, there is no way to adjust the temperature and speed for intricate designs.

4. 3Doodler Start Make Your Own HEXBUG Creature – Best for Beginners

3Doodler Start Make Your Own HEXBUG Creature 3D Pen Set, Amazon Exclusive, with 2 Additional Insectoid DoodleMold

  • [For the next generation of inventors] use the Doodle molds to create insect body parts for your hexbug, personalize it, then let it crawl around and explore.
  • [Perfect for STEM learning] Part of the 3Doodler Start STEM series This unique kit allows kids to design and experiment with different robotic structures. Encourages creativity, planning, building, and spatial understanding.

The vast majority of kids prefer to be scared of bugs than create a robotic version of them from scratch, even if they are scared of the huge, bad bugs. The building kit for this vibrating bug allows children to pick their favorite color and shape of body parts, such as legs and wings. By adding motorized micro-motors inside the bodies, 3Doodler Start Make Your Own HEXBUG Creatures make the creatures move by producing vibrations.

As well as the motors, buyers get a 3-D pen, 2 packs of colorful plastic refills, 4 insect-themed doodle molds, a micro USB charging cable, a manual, and a 5-project activity guide.

Children at least six years of age can use the 3D pen specifically for kids and beginners. Using biodegradable plastic, low temperature, and single speed to draw 3D designs, the Company optimizes ease of use and safety for this vulnerable group. Their models are different from those targeted at teenagers. These media can be set to adjust speed and temperature for advanced art, and they are made of plastics that melt at high temperatures, such as ABS, PLA, and FLEXY.

You can only use 3Doodler Start’s Make Your Own HEXBUG Creature with plastic filaments from 3Doodler Start. Purchasing molds for cars, jewelry, and other objects will enable you to expand your projects for replay value, however using exclusively proprietary refills will limit your options.

You must learn how to use the pen properly when you first begin using it, especially when it comes to the flow and thickness of the filament. Low-heat plastic can sometimes be lumpy or thin, according to some users.

The 3Doodler Start Make Your Own HEXBUG Creature FAQ’s

Are there any new functions with the 3doodler start hexbug pen?

As the award-winning 3Doodler Start 3D pen, the 3Doodler Start HEXBUG 3D pen has the same functions. Kids ages 6+ can play with it because it does not have any hot parts. A semi-transparent shell with a green button distinguishes the 3Doodler Start HEXBUG edition pen from any other 3Doodler model. I really like it!

Three microhexbug robots, two specific DoodleMolds, two spools of 3Doodler Start plastic refills in eight colors, an Activity Guide with five projects, and a USB charging cable are included in the 3Doodler Start Set.

What plastic filament does this use?

There is only one type of refill available for the 3Doodler Start HEXBUG 3D pen.

Can you use the same filament that you use for the 3Doodler 2.0?

Thank you for your reply, but I did not find a definitive answer in the entire instructions. In my opinion, however, the Start system is compatible only with the Start Eco Plasric. This item cannot be used with 3doodler, 3Doodler Clear, 3Doodler Pro or 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0. Consequently, none of them would be compatible with 3doodler Start. Please accept my apologies.

Customer Opinion:

i. J. Hurley-Rowley – “Great gift(s). Bought two, one for each of our nieces- ages 8 & 10.

This specific kit came with the 3Doodler and the ability to make your own hexebugs. Really cute and cool.

iii. Erica Aye – “Great concept. Not sure how well it worked, when used properly, as the kid I gave this to destroyed it in less than 20 minutes.

What are its best features?

Other projects can be created by the pen. Our favorite features include the kid-friendly material, the low-heat and fast-cooling properties, and the variety of colors.

What could be improved?

Having clearer instructions would prevent you from wasting the included refills by trying to get the right consistency through trial and error.

Customer Opinion:

i. Lara Van Wyk – “Fun rainy day activity! Our newly four year old needed some help doing the project, but did enjoy doing it! It’s a cute idea and the story line with the names of the animals really connected my daughter to it. We definitely weren’t able to get our animals as cute looking as the animals in the pictures, but I think an older child would have no trouble. My four year old also didn’t notice or mind. We needed to add an extra dollop to stick the legs to the body to stabilize the giraffe which isn’t mentioned in the directions. Again, I think an older child would have done a better job on the legs or have an easier time keeping track of the legs, but our daughter would lose them so we attached.

We had some trouble getting it to work initially because we use rechargeable batteries, and I wasn’t sure how long it took to warm the plastic so I wasn’t sure if it was going to work. Turns out our batteries just weren’t fully charged. I would have loved if they stated in the directions how long to expect before it worked or if they stated that a green light would come on when it was ready. This isn’t really an issue likely if you’re using regular brand new batteries.”

ii. Joker Electronics – “This is a cool product in theory, but the Handle can be a little cumbersome and in the way, i would recommend moving up to the Pen Version and skipping this version all together. this is just a little too kiddy even for a kid.”

iii. Mike McLean – “We loved this parent-friendly (no mess) craft! Our 3.5 year old son found the 3doodler to be strangely addictive! He gets to think outside of the box by building animals to his liking in a unique setting.

The actual 3doodler was very easy and fun to use and the directions were simple. Plenty of extra sticks were included which gives this project a longer lifespan than most arts and crafts projects.”

Why is it special?

From an early age, kids can use this pen to learn 3D drawing. It has a right- or left-hand handle and is economical, safe, and easy to use.

What are the flaws?

This 3D pen also has a drawback for kid beginners as its handle. Several buyers have complained that the tiny size makes it difficult to use.

6. MYNT3D Super 3D Pen – Best for Older Kids

MYNT3D Super 3D Pen, 1.75mm ABS and PLA Compatible 3D Printing Pen

  • Turn your ordinary drawings into 3D works of art
  • Stepless speed slider lets you regulate flow for optimal control of material while you're drawing
  • New: ultrasonic sealed nozzle is nearly clog-proof and provides market leading durability
  • The Super 3D Printing Pen is great for kids, artists and engineers of all ages
  • Kit includes 3 colors of ABS plastic filament A/C adapter and slim, ergonomic touch pen with 1 year limited warranty

A clog-proof ultrasonic nozzle on the Mynt3D Super 3D Pen helps eliminate flow problems, as does a stepless speed slider that allows users to control the feed rate. Also, the product adheres to the safety guidelines set forth by RoHS, CE, and FCC.

There are many reviews on Amazon for this 3D pen for older kids. A slim 3D pen, ABS filaments in black, blue, and yellow, a USB cable, and an AC adapter are included in the kit. Each item is covered for a year by its manufacturer. The plastic strands are 1.5 feet long, and troubleshooting videos are available on the manufacturer’s website.

Children over the age of seven can use the pen. Even though it does not have an OLED display like the Pro 3D pen from the same manufacturer, it has a dial for adjusting the temperature between 374°F for PLA and 410°F for ABS plastic. Additionally, both models have replaceable nozzles and similar gearboxes.

3D pens using ABS or PLA filament are compatible, but polycarbonate or flexy refills cannot be used. There is a 1.75mm tip size. A model like the MYNT3D Junior with a low heat setting would be better suited for kids so they aren’t burned by the hot ceramic tip.

Users must plug the pen into an electrical outlet in order to operate it, unlike most of the best 3D printing pens for kids in this article. If you press the feed button to heat the plastic, a red light will flash when the pen is turned on and a green light when it is switched off. You must make sure the laptop can deliver the 2000 mA the pen requires if you plan on using one to charge it.

The MYNT3D Super 3D Pen FAQ’s

What temp does it run at?

ABS is 210 C, PLA is 190 C

What size filament does this require?

ABS and PLA are standard 1.75mm thicknesses.

How can I draw upwards and make a joint?

My solution was to hold it there with my finger. I had to pull it tight because it just hangs there from the tip of the pen. You have a vertical line once it becomes hard enough to pull the pen away after about five or six seconds.

I have seen my brother’s desk fan set up and he said it is useful as a fan for his work. It’s just a matter of making sure the fan doesn’t touch the plastic and bend it. As long as you hang on to it for a few seconds, you shouldn’t have any issues getting vertical lines.

Customer Opinion

i. Holt Harper – “This does everything you would expect from a budget-priced printer pen. I am really happy that I got it as a gift for my less technical family member. But I’m glad I was there to help him set it up!

It is true that the pen works with both PLA and ABS, but because those types of filaments operate at different temperatures, the pen needs to be adjusted to the filament you’re using. This is done by opening a small flap and adjusting a tiny Potentiometer. (I’m betting my brother has already lost the tiny screwdriver that is included) Understanding the potentiometer and setting it right could be easily mishandled by less technical users.

My solution was to throw out the included ABS samples that come with the pen and advise my family to never touch the adjuster, and to only use the pen with PLA filament.

I would recommend that anyone buying this as a gift pick up a sample pack of PLA filament and ignore the included ABS.”

ii. Tim – “I have made multiple statues and figurines since I got this pen. The pen is solid, and they seem to be honoring the warranty for it. I will likely purchase again from these guys if they continue this practice”

iii. MEGAN B. – “My kids love this! I’d say it’s best for ages 8 and up as the tip gets very hot. I am always around when my kids use it. They make hearts to mail in notes to grandparents, glasses and necklaces for their Barbies and little dolls, they write their names in cursive, and do many other things for it. They went through the filament in this package pretty quickly, so I also ordered a larger pack of filament that had a ton of colors in it.”

What makes it special?

It’s worth every penny to own this 3D pen. This is best suited to creative art projects, smoothing blemishes, and bonding multiple prints together. It’s safe for older kids, and the temperature and speed can be adjusted.

What cons did we find?

Plugging it in is necessary, and the tip gets warm.

Features to consider when choosing a 3D pen for kids

  • Wired vs. wireless

There are both wired and wireless 3D pens for kids. An AC adapter or USB cable must be connected to the computer or to an outlet for wired 3D pens. Rechargeable batteries power wireless 3D pens, so you don’t have to plug them in to use them. With the wireless 3D pen, you can use it even without an outlet.

When picking out the best 3D printer for kids, safety is paramount. Here are some key factors to consider that will affect durability, replay value, and usability, as well as other safety measures implemented by reputable brands.

  • Recommended age

As each model differs in the type of plastic they use, as well as the complexity of their creations, it is important that you confirm the age recommendation.

Toddlers can choke on the small attachments on 3D pens, including the tips that emit hot liquid plastic.

The best 3D pen for kids and beginners is made with non-toxic and low-temperature plastic, non-heating external components, and a single temperature and speed setting for safety reasons.

Kids with older 3D pens tend to be more complex and better suited for STEM rather than STEAM learning. For example, MYNT3D uses a 374°F and 410°F temperature for the PLA and ABS filaments respectively in its Super 3D Pen for older children.

  • What’s included in the kit

With 3D pens for kids, each model comes with additional accessories that correspond to the model’s theme and purpose. In addition to the 3D pen, the kit typically includes plastic filaments in different colors, themed molds, a micro USB charger, and an activity guide with a variety of projects.

The three hexbug hexbot motors found in 3Doodler Start Let’s Make A HexBug Creature, as well as the LED light-string for 3Doodler Start Architecture, serve as theme-based accessories.

To increase the replay value of the 3D pen, you can buy theme-based molds from the market.

  • Activity guide

The kids are directed to replicate a number of illustrated projects with detailed instructions. In addition, it develops hand-eye coordination and motor skills in young users. Kids as young as 4 years old can draw animals and cars; teens can design complex buildings and 3D models.

  • Apps available

Many kids’ 3D printing pens do not come with downloadable apps for iOS and Android, allowing your child to expand his or her capabilities. The interactive app offers free tutorials and stencils for those who do like 3Doodler Start Essentials. The badges and milestones you reach can be shared online with some apps.

  • Temperature and speed settings

The best 3D pen for beginners and kids should have a temperature setting after reviewing the recommended age.

It is not uncommon for children to play with heated tips, and novices may not know how to set the temperature just right, to ensure that plastic does not extrude too much or clog, lump up, or impede a smooth flow.

  • Power Source

In most cases, you can charge three-dimensional pens beforehand, then unplug them during operation. When fully charged, the 3Doodler Start Architecture battery pack offers 15 minutes of working time when using the micro USB charging cable. Low-temperature plastics are usually used for these kinds of devices.

A USB cord and an A/C adapter are included with MYNT3D’s Super 3D Pen, so you can connect it to an outlet. For ABS and PLA filaments, it has a temperature range of 410°F and 374°F respectively. Use only laptops with a maximum output of 2000 mA if there is no wall outlet available.

  • Controls

For a kid-friendly 3D printing pen, single button control is the most convenient and easy to learn. Advanced pens with separate controls may be available to older kids and hobbyists for controlling temperature, speed, and feeding and releasing plastic strands.

  • Display

You can see the filament type as well as its speed and temperature on a well-lit display. Most of them feature intuitive interfaces that let you select settings and monitor them.

As an alternative to LED, organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) are often used in best 3D printing pens for kids because they have higher brightness and contrast, a wider viewing angle, and a wider color range, and they consume less energy. A model with an OLED display is Mynt3D Professional Printing 3D Pen.

  • Certifications

With the RoHS, CE, and FCC approvals, MYNT3D Super 3D Pen ensures that the products are non-toxic for the intended user, and they are also energy-efficient and high-performing.

  • Warranty

The warranty period of a reputable brand is significant to protect your purchase against manufacturing defects. Therefore, it is not surprising that 3Doodler, which invented the 3D pen, has one of the best replacement policies in the industry. They offer free replacements to their customers for 365 days. Make sure to only use refills recommended by the manufacturer.
How are 3D Drawing Pens different to 3D printers?

In comparison to 3D printers, 3D pens are a lot more versatile. A 3D printer requires meticulous planning and design before it can be used. Some knowledge of CAD drawing skills is also required to use a 3D printer.

Kids usually don’t have the time or patience to learn how to use complex software tools.

You can, however, begin drawing right away using a 3D Printing Pen. Due to their immediate nature, 3D Pens are ideal for younger children who may not have the patience to use a 3D Printer.

In comparison to more analytical 3D printing, it could be considered an artistic or creative hobby.

You now have enough information about 3D pens to be able to make an informed decision when it comes to buying a pen for your child. In order to grade these pens, let’s take a look at the review criteria we used.
